Privacy Policy

Data collection

Folder+ does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. It contains no analytics, advertising, accounts, tracking or app-operated online service.

On-device storage

Files and metadata remain in the app’s local container on the user’s device. Private-vault content, metadata and cached thumbnails are encrypted by the app. The public library is protected by iOS Data Protection but is not encrypted with a vault password.

User-initiated transfers

Folder+ transfers data only when the user explicitly uses an Apple system picker or share sheet to import, export, share, create a backup or restore a backup. An exported file is no longer protected by Folder+, and the selected destination app or storage provider controls that copy.

Retention and deletion

Users can delete individual items inside Folder+. Deleting the app removes its on-device app container. Users are responsible for deleting copies and encrypted backup files they previously saved elsewhere.

Passwords and recovery

The developer does not receive or store vault passwords, backup passwords or recovery keys. Forgotten passwords cannot be recovered by the developer.

This website

When you visit this privacy or support website, the web server may temporarily process standard request information such as an IP address, timestamp and browser details to deliver and secure the site. The website uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and this technical data is not linked to activity inside Folder+.
